Current projects include habitat restoration at Mountain Lakes, and a project to build a new trail in the southwest corner of Mountain Lakes that will include two bridges.

Also moving forward is a pedestrian suspension bridge linking other township lands on either side of the Stony Brook, for which the township received a $500,000 grant in 2002. FOPOS members originated the proposal for the project and have been active since then working out the complicated logistics.
