Join FOPOS Land Steward Intern Tina Kulick as we take a Forest Art Walk through John Witherspoon Woods at the Billy Johnson Mountain Lakes Nature Preserve. We'll spend time appreciating our local environment through the medium of drawing.
We'll begin the Forest Art Walk by entering the old woods, and as we make our way down the paths we will pause to draw what we encounter – from native oak trees to groups of ferns. We may make our way to the boulders by Devil's Cave and have a seat, and enjoy the sights and sounds of water trickling through the forest. Folks will have an opportunity to share their drawings and perspectives.
Please bring your favorite art supplies and mediums for artistic exploration. We will have some pencils and sketch paper for you to use. This event is geared towards ages 16 and over.
