Help empower the next generation of environmental leaders by sponsoring an intern. FOPOS supports land steward internships for college students pursuing environmental majors, providing hands-on experience in sustainable land management. Through local partnerships, we also offer employment for high school students. Together, these youths lead local conservation and educational programs, developing valuable leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.

Be a champion for nature by helping us plant over 6,500 native trees, shrubs, and wildflowers in the riparian zones of the Preserve. Your donation of a tree or protective materials will play a key role in improving water quality, providing habitat for wildlife, and restoring vital ecosystems. With your support, we can create vibrant, thriving nature spaces that will benefit the community for years to come.

Support our work by gifting us items from our Amazon wishlist. Your gifts will help us replenish critical supplies like work gloves, pruners, and safety equipment, which are necessary for our staff and volunteers to safely and effectively carry out habitat restoration projects. Your gifts can also enable us to secure tools & technology for ecological monitoring efforts, strengthening our ability to protect and manage the land effectively.

Preserve the beauty and vitality of Mountain Lakes for generations to come by contributing to our Healthy Lake Fund. Your contribution supports our three-year lake management plan focused on improving water quality and removing invasive aquatic plants that threaten the future of our ecosystem. Your donation will ensure our lake remains a healthy, vibrant haven for wildlife, recreation, and future generations. Together, we can protect this precious resource!

Your time can be the most valuable gift of all! We rely on volunteers to help with habitat restoration, perform trail maintenance, and lead educational programs. Whether you want to sign up as a volunteer, organize a group volunteer session for your corporate or community group, or offer to lead an educational program, we have many ways you can get involved. Join us in safeguarding our environment and creating meaningful experiences for the community!
